Madras Blazer - exceptionally nice

This is a really great jacket - the cut and cloth are clear from the pictures but it is even nicer once on. It is a real stand-out item and certainly gets noticed and attracts nice comments. The madras check is really bright and special and I couldn't find anything similar without going extremely high end bespoke and costing much more. A note on sizing: I have now ordered three of these style blazers (the blue check,a boating blazer and now the Steve Marriot check). All were ordered at different times, I want for sizes 40, 38, 40 regular, as I thought that the 40 was slightly too roomy but the 38 was definitely too small for me. I'm happy with the 40 but it is not as fitted as a jacket by someone like Jump the Gun. I would usually take a 38. Another very positive thing worth noting - these are posted from Bangladesh and I was concerned that I would get stuck with import duties and handling fees. That hasn't happened on all three jackets. They are posted as "sample jackets" with a nominal value and perhaps it is that which avoids any application of taxes and such. I had two jackets delivered to the UK and one to Sweden, so it seems to be a common response to how they are dispatched. I've read some negative reviews about customer service but in terms of quality of product, price and my experience of this jacket and the others I have, I would highly recommend Mod Fashions.

Absolutely delighted with the blazer as soon as I removed the packaging I was amazed at the quality of the jacket. Unfortunately the blazer is to small; I will not be returning it, as it was my error I ordered the incorrect size. I will however, be ordering another jacket, this time the correct size, as I am so impressed with the quality.
